Refund and Return Policy

At Alantu Bakehouse (operated by ALANTU ENTERPRISE LTD), we take great pride in the quality, freshness, and craftsmanship of our authentic artisanal baking products. We want every customer to be completely satisfied with their purchase. Please read our policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Perishable Goods (No Returns) Due to the perishable nature of our products (including fresh breads, baked goods, and specific raw baking ingredients) and strict food health and safety regulations, we do not accept returns or exchanges for any food items once they have been dispatched. All sales of perishable goods are final.

2. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders We go to great lengths to ensure your order is securely packaged. However, if your order arrives damaged, defective, or if you receive the incorrect items, we are here to make it right.

  • Reporting Timeline: You must contact us at hello@alantu-bakehouse.co.uk within 24 hours of the delivery time.
  • Required Evidence: Please include your order number and clear photographs of the damaged product and the packaging in your email.
  • Resolution: Upon verification, we will gladly offer a complimentary replacement sent out as soon as possible, or issue a full/partial refund to your original payment method, at our discretion.

3. Order Cancellations Because our artisanal breads are baked fresh and scheduled for dispatch, order cancellations are only accepted if requested within 12 hours of placing the order, provided the order has not already entered the baking or dispatch process. Once an order is being prepared or has been handed over to the courier, it cannot be canceled.

4. Subscriptions (Weekly Health Box) If you are subscribed to our Weekly Health Box, you may pause or cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before your next scheduled billing date to avoid being charged for that week’s box.

5. Refund Processing Time If a refund is approved, it will be processed automatically to your original method of payment (via Stripe). Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the funds to appear in your bank account, depending on your card issuer’s policies.
